Dilwyn Owen, a farmer based in Anglesey was awarded a D-Max Yukon as the superb prize for winning the fourth series of the Fferm Factor, an X-Factor style farming show.
Owens fought off tough competition over a period of 8 weeks, successfully completing a variety of challenges that put his practical and farming skills to the test.
Awarded the prize pick-up in January, the Yukon has been put into full use on his family’s farm in Anglesey. Based in rural Wales, the D-Max has proved invaluable and a great tool for both farming and personal purposes; including the day-to-day running of the mixed farm, carrying beef and towing livestock trailers.
Owen comments “The D-Max offers the best of both worlds; it’s comfortable to drive on long journeys and returns excellent fuel economy on my trips to Cardiff, but it’s also tough and up to the job; if I go into a muddy ditch I know I’ll come out the other side!”
The D-Max Yukon forms part of Isuzu’s premium range; packed full of features including 17” alloys, chrome grille and rear bumper, keyless entry, leather steering wheel, LED rear light clusters and cruise control.
Practical and functional the D-Max boasts a 3.5 tonne towing capacity, enhanced ground clearance and low 4-wheel drive setting; supported by a 5 year warranty.
