US based airgun specialists Rapid Air Weapons unveiled their revolutionary new Field Target Rifle – the TM1000 – at the 2011 AAFTA US National Field Target Championships in Pulaski, Tennessee.

Rapid Air Weapons was formed in 2006 by airgun engineering legend Martin Rutterford, manufacturing precision air rifle components and accessories for some of the worlds leading gunmakers.

Now RAW is about to take the competition scene on both sides of the Atlantic by storm with the most exciting new dedicated field target rifle to be introduced for a number of years.

Elegant and functional, the TM1000 has been specifically designed to meet the needs of the serious field target shooter – including the USFT High-Power competitors.

The TM1000 is available in all 4 usual airgun calibres with different power levels available for all uses. The internally fitted regulator offers an incredible 85 shots at 19.7fpe from it’s fixed 180cc reservoir.

All external surfaces are finished in silver and there are two target stock options – thumbhole and vertical grip. Both feature full palm swells and 10″ long forend accessory rails.

You can expect to see demonstration models at the BFTA Grand Prix Series events in 2012 and maybe even some of the regional Winter League shoots.
