Welcome to Wild Boar Road Trip – Hungary on Team Wild TV.

Team Wild TV joins Ian Harford and Steve Wild at the shooting range as they prepare their rifles and scopes ahead of their upcoming wild boar hunting trip in Hungary. The environment that awaits is completely different to what they have recently experienced while hunting in Alaska in the previous series. Follow Ian and Steve as they prepare their equipment for the conditions and challenges they’ll face in the Hungarian wilderness.

Wild boar hunting is very ballistic and fast moving, Ian and Steve are going to need a slightly different set-up for this type of hunting. The three rifles they are setting up are the R8 Professional Success in 300 Win Mag with a Hawke Frontier 1×6 by 24, Howa 1500 in 308 with a GRS Berserk stock and Hawke Reflex Sight. Finally, the Sauer 404 in 338 Win Mag topped with the Hawke Endurance 1×4 by 24. All the rifles are long mag, lightweight and manoeuvrable, ideal for hunting wild boar.

After spending some quality time getting to know each rifle and the set-up personally, Ian and Steve are almost ready for the road. But, before they start packing up the truck, they need to practice shooting fast paced targets. Next time on Wild Boar Road Trip – Hungary, Ian and Steve are in Wales with Andrews Venables of WMS Firearms Training for some ballistic shooting coaching.
